Reshooting blog: important scenes

Today we went out and reshot some clips. We liked our clips from last time but we agreed that there could be some improvements. We needed the film to be a little longer. We watched the film over again. We decided to add a scene instead of reshooting one. It was the easiest to fill what we needed. After we got the peer review paper back we decided to follow the tips. We needed to add more angles. We looked through the list if necessary ones. We picked the one that was easiest to add and for the film to still make sense.
We decided to add another shot after I wake up in the movie. In the movie there is a scene where I wake up and find blood on my hand. Originally after that it cuts to be seeing it then getting out of bed. However, on the peer review it also told us to better show the fake blood on my hand. We added an over the shoulder shot/ high angle (combined) to focus on the blood. We added the few seconds we needed with the shot if the blood. We added the shot between the clips. It gave more detail to the audience of what was happening. We were able to both add another shot as well as a few more seconds. Now we need to make sure it all works together.
