Starting the Final Task

My name is Tekla and I'm in the 10th grade. I have always been intrested in watching videos and movies. When I was younger I would even create videos of my own on my IPad. When I found out there was an AICE Media Studies class I knew I wanted to take it. I usually watch films whenever I'm free. Watching films as well as hanging out with friends are my hobbies. I'm hopinh this final task will further teach me how to create films. For this project I have decided to work with the same people as last time. I'm working with Kelsey, Dominic, and Gage.
This isn't our first project my teammates and I are working on together. I see this as an advantage since we know each others strengths and weaknesses. We will be able to work easier as a team and work faster. From our past task we had a minor problem all coming together and being able to film everything in time. This time we will plan further ahead and work on our time management. Since this task is longer than the past ones we need to start filming earlier on. Also since this is a larger project we need more time to edit. There will be more footage to look through and edit. We want the project to end up looking good so we need to take our time and use every opportunity. During this project we will once again use our own equipment and softwares since we already know how to use it and believe it's better quality and easier to use.
A pitch is when you describe an idea where a film is encapsulated in 25 words or less. My group and I have come up with three different pitches.

  • Pitch #1: There are two best friends and one of them mysteriously disappears.
  • Pitch #2: Friends turn on each other and it does not end well.
  • Pitch #3: Person plans and decides to commit a murder.

This shows my group and I working on our different pitches to tell the group about.
